Running like a maniac down the street. Sweat dripping, backpack bouncing around, no good shoes for the sprint. If you just make it around the corner… Oh, no! There are the rear lights of the bus leaving your stop. Missed it. How will you pass the time until the next bus arrives?
Just Stop is a street performance that happens at and around a working bus stop. With Just Stop, we question what is a bus stop, how we use it, and what meetings it offers. With a humorous standpoint and by using dance, movement and physical theater, we invite the audience to rediscover this peculiar space together with us!
A bus stop…the social, anti-social hub of passing people. Everyone is going somewhere and that somewhere is never here. And here we are all together -waiting for the bus.
