• CENTRE OF THE SPIRAL

    By Kollaborativet

  • An immersive and interactive performance for all ages with different capabilitiesand languages.

To meet in a movement, scratchings on a ribbedsurface, a woolly caress or a golden reflection. To meet in a common process where each person represents their own story.

Centre of the Spiral is an experience through which we try to make room for things we didn’t know would happen, but still do. An experience that reaches out towards the unknown and discovers repose. An attempt to confirm the here and now that is unique for each individual while connecting to our collective movement in time and space. An immersive and interactive performance for children and adults of all ages with different capabilities and languages. The form of expression is tactile, visual and
    auditory, entirely without words.

Centre of the Spiral was conceived in close cooperation with pupils and teachers at the Mellanhedsskolan primary school for children with special needs in Malmö during autumn 2020. Centre of the Spiral premiered in the C gallery at Malmö Konsthall in spring 2021.
